Straight Truck

Our Straight Truck course is a three (3) week program consists of the following topics:

  • Pre-operating Inspection
  • Manoeuvring Skills
  • Rural, Town, Trans Canada, and City Driving
  • Air Brake Course (8 hours)
  • Professional Driver Improvement Course

Prerequisites

In order to be eligible for the Straight Truck Program, one must comply with the following criteria.

  • Pass and provide a Nova Scotia Medical
  • RMV Air Brake endorsement
  • Provide a Driver's Abstract
  • Minimum Grade 8 education
  • Possess a valid Class 5 or higher license**
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Provide a Letter of Intent

 

** Anyone falling under the graduated license program must have the 'N' removed prior to starting the program
